A member of the State Bar of Georgia since 1997, Lynn Kleinrock has represented thousands of clients who have found themselves entangled in the criminal justice system.  From bond and preliminary hearings in Magistrate Court, to misdemeanors in State Court and to all levels of felonies in Superior Court, Ms. Kleinrock has successfully defended her clients’ rights.  From probation revocation hearings to death penalty cases, Ms. Kleinrock has worked tirelessly to obtain the best outcome for her clients.  Ms. Kleinrock has also represented many clients at the appellate court level, challenging errors that occurred during their trials and fighting to overturn their convictions.
Ms. Kleinrock worked as an attorney for the DeKalb County Public Defender's Office for over 11 years.  A dedicated fighter for her clients, Ms. Kleinrock worked relentlessly for her clients and gained an incredible amount of courtroom experience during her many years at the Public Defender's Office.  Ms. Kleinrock was also a part of the DeKalb County Drug Court, an alternative treatment court, for over 2 years.   Before her time working at the DeKalb County Public Defender's Office, Ms. Kleinrock was with the Multi-county Public Defender's Office, a death penalty trial office.
Professional Organizations
Lynn Kleinrock is a member of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the DeKalb Bar Association, and the Gwinnett Bar Association.  For her landmark victory on Brown v. State, Ms. Kleinrock received a “COTY” or “Case of the Year” award from the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Ms. Kleinrock attended Emory University School of Law and graduated with a JD in 1997.  Upon graduation, Ms. Kleinrock received the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers Outstanding Law Student Award.  While at Emory Law, Ms Kleinrock was President of the Emory Public Interest Committee.  Ms. Kleinrock was also involved in numerous clinical practice programs and internships that centered on helping those in need:

  • DeKalb County Public Defender’s Office

  • Multi-county Public Defender Office

  • The Southern Center for Human Rights

Ms. Kleinrock graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1994 with a BA in Government and International Studies.  She was Chief of Staff of Student Government at Notre Dame, chaired a report to the University Board of Trustees, and served on the Academic Council, the Student Senate, and Hall Presidents Council.  Ms. Kleinrock received a prestigious award from the University of Notre Dame for advancing the interests of the students at the university.  She also marched with the Notre Dame Band of the Fighting Irish.
